Johannes van den Bosch founded the Colonies of Benevolence in 1818 and later became Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies. Our four-course menu follows that journey: Indonesian spices meet regional produce. On Sunday morning our guide takes you through the monumental avenue landscape of Veenhuizen.
