By public transport:
Take bus line 14 from Assen station towards Drachten/Leeuwarden and get off at bus stop
Gen. van den Boschweg. Bitter en Zoet is about 1.5 km from the bus stop.

By car:
From A28 exit 33 direction Smilde Norg.
Follow the signs Veenhuizen to N919 and then Bitter en Zoet.

From Wolvega follow N531 to Oosterwolde, then N919 to Veenhuizen. Then follow the directions to Bitter en Zoet.
You can park on the other side of the road in the spacious parking lot.
