Christmas is the time when we slow down and make room for each other. No rush, just a long lunch in the middle of the day, while the winter Colony quietly rests outside and the candles burn inside.
In the former hospital, where people have gathered for over a century, we serve a Christmas lunch worth taking your time for. Relaxed, atmospheric and with the hospitality our family business is known for.
Veenhuizen has a rich history and many nature reserves - the perfect combination to slow down.

The Christmas lunch is served from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. On these four Christmas days there is room at the table in our restaurant — for hotel guests and day guests alike.
The kitchen
A lunch by chef Peter
Chef Peter and his brigade prepare the Christmas lunch with mostly organic and regional produce, including vegetables from our own garden. You enjoy a selection of warm and cold dishes, with juices, coffee and tea included. There is, of course, a vegetarian option. Dietary requirements or allergies? Let us know in advance and we will happily take them into account.
