What the package includes

The 2 night special is our most booked package for a weekend break in Drenthe: two nights in one of the historic service houses, the extensive breakfast buffet each morning and an evening at the restaurant.

You choose the room type: Comfort room, Deluxe room or an apartment when travelling as a family. Dinner is prepared by chef Peter and sous chef Jos, with produce from our own kitchen garden and growers in the Colonies.

What a weekend here looks like

Arrive Friday afternoon, coffee and something sweet, then a walk along the avenues of Veenhuizen. Dinner in the monument that evening. Saturday the National Prison Museum, the Fochteloerveen or a cycling route through the World Heritage site, and home after breakfast on Sunday.
